technically Prussia doesn't "die" because Prussia became the German Empire by uniting with German states and placing their king, William the first, at the head all that happens during world war one is that German land is taken....

.....sorry after writing that i feel stupid IDK why...just writing what was told to me by me history teacher when i asked him about it.... ^^;

what i mean by my comment though is that Frederick the great. One of the greatest kings of Prussia, is human thus he had to die.
